American actor Courtney Thorne Smith was born on November 8, 1967. Her credits include Alison Parker in Melrose Place, Georgia Thomas in Ally McBeal, Cheryl In According to Jim, and Lyndsey McElroy's recurring role on Two and a Half Men. Thorne-Smith was born and raised in San Francisco, California, and was raised in Menlo Park, a suburb south of San Francisco. Her father, Walter Smith, was an expert in market research using computers, as was her mother, Lora Thorne, was a Therapist. Courtney aged seven years old, divorced her father Walter Smith. She was a part of both parents at different times. Jennifer, her older sister is an ad executive. In 1985, she graduated from Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, California. When she was in high school, she appeared in the Ensemble Theater Company of Mill Valley. Thorne Smith's first appearance in a movie was in the 1986 feature film drama Lucas. The film was co-produced by Winona Ryder (Corey Haim), and Charlie Sheen. The actress was also in a number of movies in the latter half of the 1980s, including Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise (1987), Summer School (1987), and Side Out (1990). In 1998, she was an actress in the box office movie Chairman Of The Bank, which failed together with Carrot Top. She appeared in Sorority Wars in 2009. Thorne Smith was a lover of Andrew Shue from Melrose Place in the early 1990s. The actress was married to geneticist Andrew Conrad in June 2000. They split in 2001. Roger Fishman, the president of Zizo Group marketing and author of What I Know, was her husband. On the 11th of January, 2008, she turned 40 she gave birth her son, Jacob Emerson Fishman.
